I started a print one a P1 that would exceed the amount of filament left on the spool. Therefore I put another one into the second slot of the AMS as I had heard that the P1 is capable of continuing on another spool automatically.
I did not realize that I had to configure this second spool in bambu studio when creating the g-code. I'm running the printer without connection by generating g-code onto the SD card.
When I checked the printer after a while, the first spool was empty as expected. But the second one wasn't started and the printer had stopped due to lack of filament.
Realizing my previous mistake, I tried to go through the menu on the little display on the printer, trying to tell it "Hey, in slot 2 is another spool. Use that to go on." While clicking around, I managed to click on the stop icon, which, as I soon realized, would abort the print.
How can I tell the printer which spool to use next, through the menu?
If not through the menu, what other options do I have in that situation? Can I open the AMS during operation, pull out the old spool and insert the new one in the same slot?
