I have an Adata USB flash drive 64Gb that suddenly stopped working properly. When I plug it into my Windows PC, it's detected in Device Manager, but in Disk Management it appears as "No Media" with 0 bytes of capacity.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Using diskpart, the list disk command shows: Diskpart
  2. Tried formatting with tools like: Rufus
  3. Tried chkdsk, but it doesn’t work because there’s no volume.
  4. Updated the USB drivers through Device Manager

It seems like the firmware might be corrupted, or perhaps the NAND memory is damaged. Before I give up on it completely, I'm looking for any method to possibly revive it.

  • I used ChipGenius, which gave me the following details: ChipGenius

  • Based on that, I downloaded a flash controller tool: Dyna Mass Storage Production Tool (Star_SM3265series_U0708) from USBDev (Russia).

  • However, when I run it, I get this result: enter image description here

The repair option doesn’t work, and I’m stuck.

Questions:

  • Has anyone successfully repaired a USB flash drive showing this behavior?
  • Any advice or tools specific to the SM3265 controller?
