Let $A$ be $\{a^p\mid p\text{ is prime}\}$. Let $B$ be $\{a\}^*$.
Both $A^*$ and $A\circ B$ are regular. $A^*$ is $\epsilon+aaa^*$ and $A\circ B$ is $aaa^*$.
