I studied mathematics at A-level, but read Classics at university. My interest in maths was renewed after reading Simon Singh's brilliant and inspiring book Fermat's Last Theorem about 20 years ago. I have been an amateur mathematician ever since.

I am leader of an Anglican church by day.
