Mathematics was my favorite subject in high school. I continue to read and learn about mathematics in my spare time. I love learning about math and practice what I have absorbed, in persuit of learning something about every branch of mathematics. I am by no means an expert in any branch and never really got great marks in school, but am facinated none the less! During a job retraining course for welding, I was the only one in class to have obtained my high school diploma and was in no need of any qualifing upgrade in math or english credits, so the only thing they let me do was take grade 13 equivalent class in mathematics, and Calculus was the one I chose. They didn't have a teacher available to teach a grade 13 class, so I had to teach myself and submit the homework to another school to be gradeed, and my last mark was 98%! I didn't complete the course by the time the retraining was done but am continuing to learn at my own pace.
