My confusion comes from the fact that the rotational surface integral includes the curvature while the volume integral does not. I am wondering for rotational surface integrals why its not valid to sum up infinite cylinders shells instead they must be cones that include its curvature and for volume its reversed (That being that those objects are now filled for volume) and is perfectly valid to use filled in cylinders.

What I am talking about: Formula of surface Integral /Formula of Volume Integral
