In my previous questions (here and here) I was trying to achieve a filament change without M600 command. Finally made it getting a good second colour adhesion. Now I'm facing the stringing issue when printing small separated parts. I read this article about Ender 3 "best" retraction settings. My question is about which would be the best retraction settings for this kind of print. I have an Ender 3 v1 with Marlin 2.1.2.5 and use AstroPrint's Cura 3.6.0.

Is it a good idea to use two separate files for each colour, each one with its own retraction settings? How would I do that?

There is no single best retraction length or speed. It varies based on the filament you're using and the temperature at which you're printing, and even the extruder type you're using. (The stock Ender 3 uses a Bowden tube, but if you upgrade it to use direct drive instead, the retraction would change drastically.)

For instance, PLA from one manufacturer may use a different blend of additives, meaning it has a different viscosity, and the retraction will need to be changed for that filament. Sometimes even different colors of the same filament from the same manufacturer can need different retraction settings. That's why retraction levels can be set on individual filament profiles. If you use Orca slicer, there's a retraction test in the Calibration menu.
